Facial Implants

Facial implants can create a balanced, refined and youthful appearance to the face. Deficient cheek bones, a “weak chin” or hollow temples can be safely augmented with a permanent implant to provide a more pleasing and youthful facial contour.

Modern facial implants are made of flexible, inert materials that contour nicely with the underlying bone and tissue. Numerous sizes and shapes of implants are available to provide a result finely-tuned to your desires and your underlying facial shape and structure. These implants are well tolerated by the body. In every case, incisions can be hidden under the lip, in an existing skin crease or behind the hairline to help camouflage any incisions and create a natural result. Facial implants can be placed either in the office operating room or at an ambulatory surgery center. Surgery requires less than one hour unless combined with other procedures.
